André Des Rochers is a seasoned entertainment and sports lawyer who knows the business inside out. He’s been advising clients on navigating tricky legal waters for nearly 30 years. He also holds a JD from the University of Toronto and a certificate in Entertainment & Sports Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. He was a partner at the law firm Goodman & Associates for 20 years. Prior to that, André Des Rochers worked for the City of Vancouver and various trade associations involved with live entertainment, including Variety Club International.
André is a former board member for Theatre BC and sits on the board of Arts Counts/Les Arts comptent, a mentorship program for emerging artists. André Des Rochers is a philanthropist in the arts community, regularly volunteering with the Vancouver Opera, performing arts and school programs.
He enjoys traveling, wining and dining, game nights with friends, and spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He is a supporter of the Arts Culture and Heritage program’s A Fond Farewell for the Orpheum Theatre, held in May of 2014.André Des Rochers is involved in the local arts community as a theater goer and board member at Arts Counts/Les Arts comptent. He’s been going to the theater since he was a little boy when his mom took him to see The King and I at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Vancouver.
