Guilherme Paulus cofounded in 1972, CVC Brasil Operadora e Agencia de Viagens S.A. along with his business partner, Carlos Vicente Cerchiari. Since CVS was founded in 1972, it has grown to become the largest tourism firm in Brazil. Currently, CVS Brasil Operadora e Agencia de Viagens S.A. has over 200 points of sale throughout the world, including 23 states in Brazil, and international locations in France, Argentina Chile and Uruguay.
Today Guilherme Paulus is one of the most respected and influential great businessmen in Brazil. In 2013, he became the chairman of the board of directors of CVS Brasil Operadora e Agencia de Viagens S.A in October. That same year in 2013, Guilherme was added to the Forbes billionaire list. Guilherme is also a member of the tourism national board named by the republic’s president and is also serves as a member of the board at GJP FIP. In 2017 Guilherme was recognized for his contribution to improving the living standards of the average Brazilian and was named Entrepreneur of the year by Money magazine.
